Choosing The Wedding Location

When choosing the wedding location there are five important factors to keep in mind. How many will come?  The answer to this questions has much to do with the wedding budget? You'd do well to set reasonable limits to how much you or your family will spend.  Remember to give priority to the Wedding Budget section. Other factors regarding choosing a location include the following:

1. Distance
2. Seating Capacity
3. Climate

4. Materials
5. Setting

1. Distance: The distance from the wedding location to the reception hall should be reasonably close. Often out of town guests get lost and are left frustrated and even irritated when the reception hall or wedding location are awkwardly distant.

2. Seating Capacity: The hall should provide adequate seating arranged in such a way where all present have a good view. Extra seating should adhere to fire codes.

3. Climate: The facility should be capable of creating a climate and temperature that is suitable for the very young and elderly.

4. Materials: Many wedding halls are well aged. Be certain there are no problems with respect to water damage, mold and mildew. It is also important that the environment does not play havoc with allergies the immediate family may be contending with.

5. Setting: If you are being wed in a hall be certain that certain allergens and smells from nearby plants and flowers do not needlessly irritate guests. If your wedding is to be held outdoors consider things like flowers, gardening materials, sun, bugs, birds and other critters that could prove bothersome to guests.

It is important to know that you can't please everyone no matter how hard you try. Do what you can and let the guests take precautions needed to make themselves more comfortable.
